Job description
Accelecom is currently seeking a full-time exempt Account Consultant for our Louisville, KY office. The Account Consultant is responsible for partnering with the Field Sales org to manage and grow client relationships (while also elevating customer satisfaction and loyalty). This role involves understanding client needs, providing solutions, and acting as a pivotal point of contact between prospects, clients and the company. The Account Consultant plays a critical role in the pre-sales process as well as driving sales/revenue growth, client/revenue retention, client trust, and identifying opportunities for both upselling & cross-selling products and services. The Account Consultant will work hand-in-hand with the Field Sales team on numerous pre-sales & post-sales activities.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Serve as a pivotal point of contact for assigned clients
Assist with client onboarding (for new logos)
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty
Conduct regular check-in's with clients to assess needs / gather feedback
Sales and Account Growth
Identify & drive upsell or cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions.
Spearhead renewals and pricing adjustments.
Strategic Planning and Reporting
Assist w/ lead-generate follow-up & execution
Partner w/ Field Sales to develop account plans
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to account health and growth
Provide reporting on account performance, challenges, and opportunities
Problem Resolution
Address and resolve client issues or concerns
Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams @ escalations
Product Expertise
Develop in-depth understanding of Accelecom’s products and services
Provide product training and demonstrations to clients when necessary
Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in acct mgt, sales, or customer service
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines
Analytical skills for interpreting data and developing strategies
Strong problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the Telecommunication industry
Previous experience selling into the Enterprise space
Prior experience w/ Salesforce & ZoomInfo
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment (50% in-office & 50% remote)
May require occasional travel (within KY & to GA)
